Our Lady of Gietrzwałd Beneath the Maple Tree

Our Lady of Gietrzwałd is shown in a radiant countryside apparition beneath a sheltering maple tree. Crowned and veiled in white and blue, Mary lowers her gentle gaze while holding the Rosary in her hands. Two girls kneel before her in prayer, their faces turned upward with trust, as lilies and garden flowers bloom at the foot of the tree. A small shrine and the inscription “Gietrzwald 1877” mark the place of memory, while angels gather in golden light above and a village church rises in the distance. The scene invites contemplation of Mary’s maternal nearness, the simplicity of childlike faith, and the steady grace of prayer offered through the Rosary.
