Saint Jerome, Priest and Doctor of the Church, has long been honored as one of the great biblical scholars of Christian history. His work with Hebrew, Greek, and Latin texts helped shape the Latin biblical tradition known as the Vulgate, which profoundly influenced the life, prayer, and theology of the Western Church. The Saint’s Story
