The Saint’s Story

Saint Joan of Arc was a humble girl from Domrémy in France who believed God was calling her to a difficult mission. Still very young, she left the quiet life of her village and entered the public struggles of her country with extraordinary courage. Joan prayed, acted boldly, and sought to remain faithful to the Lord amid confusion, danger, and opposition. Captured and condemned, she died at Rouen in 1431, entrusting herself to Jesus. Her life reminds the faithful that sanctity is not measured by age or worldly power, but by obedience, courage, and love for God when the path is costly.
